My passion for Midwifery grew when I was pregnant with my third child. I embarked on my journey to receive my associate’s in nursing from Del Mar College, bachelor’s in nursing from Cumberland University, and now my master’s in nursing specializing in midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. I am proud to be a graduate of Frontier Nursing University, which was founded by Mary Breckenridge who brought the idea of nurse-midwife to the United States.
During my quest of achieving my nurse-midwifery certification, I worked for seven years in the adult intensive care unit. Two years in labor and delivery and postpartum.
Pregnancy is an extraordinary journey, and I am honored to be able to join you in this most vulnerable time and guide you along. Using the midwifery model of care, evidence-based care and shared decision model I will guide you along your journey of welcoming your child earthside.
I am also fluent in German if care is needed and you do not speak any English.
Introductory visits (consultations) are free if you would like to find out more about midwifery.
